Faithwalking 101

What a difference a year of Faithwalking has made in my life!

This weekend I took part in my second Faithwalking 101 retreat with Jim & Trisha from Houston.  I was asked to lead a small group in the sharing of our solitude time.  The solitude time was the place where we responded to the questions and information that was shared with us during the teaching time.  So my role as the small group leader was to go first in the sharing time.  I knew the material well from last year and spent 24 weeks working on it in a Faithwalking 201 learning group.

I didn't realize how much of an impact this journey has had on me this past year.  It wasn't until I began to share my story and feel no shame or guilt that the impact became known to me.  The greatest thing that Faithwalking gave to me was the ability to show up as the person God has called me to be and to show up in those places I had previously found it difficult to be truly present, honest and authentic.

There is still more that I will be working on, but to gain this one stronghold in my life is so powerful.  My hope is that I will help others discover who God is calling them to be and to invite, challenge and encourage them to faithfully walk into that truth.

In God's Love,

Rich
